About VideoHQ
I’m Hannah, the videographer behind VideoHQ. I travel across the UK for filming projects, and hunker down in my office in Longton (Stoke-on-Trent) for the pre-production and post-production work.
I was a BBC journalist and producer for over five years (more on that below), which gives me the perfect skillset to bring to projects involving video interviews.
I mostly work with Communications and Marketing teams as a specialist videographer, helping them implement high-quality, audience-focussed videos into their strategies.
But I also regularly work with business owners directly, bringing my expertise to develop and produce the video content which will be most effective for their company.

Meet the Creative Director of VideoHQ, Hannah Morris-Quinn
My journalism expertise
After completing my journalism degree at the University of Winchester, I cut my teeth initially as a freelance reporter at BBC Radio Stoke.
The variety of that job was crazy. One minute I was interviewing a long-serving community police officer about his retirement, the next I was being sent off to report at a police cordon for a domestic abuse incident… this is a real example!
I moved to BBC Radio Shropshire in 2018, and to my first production role as the Sunday Breakfast show producer.
And to give you some of the highlights of my five years there:
- I was the main producer of an overnight by-election show
- I was responsible for the first breakfast show on air after the passing of Prince Philip
- And a more fun one: going to a farm vets to do a story about equine obesity. Loved those fat horses*
The key thing is that I was constantly working with contributors who’d never been on the radio before, and helping them to deliver a great interview.
And that’s the skillset I bring to every video project, creating conversational interviews that help people to naturally share their stories on camera.
*Unfortunately, this is also where my manager pulled me up for saying on the report that horses eat straw, not hay. Still get made fun of for that one.
